How LearnAppu handles account information, AI conversations, uploaded images, learning progress, and Community Concepts.

1. What this notice covers

This notice explains how information is used in LearnAppu accounts, AI classrooms, visual learning, practice, and support. LearnAppu is the platform described here. Questions about this notice can be sent to hello@learnappu.com.

2. Information used by the platform

Account and learning information can include your name, email, selected subjects, learning preferences, course progress, practice answers, and assessment results. Sign-in and session information is used to connect activity to your account.

When you use AI or visual tools, the platform processes your prompts, conversation history, uploaded files and images, generated explanations, and edited images. Support messages include the information you choose to send. Subscription records can include payment-provider references, plan details, and access status.

3. Why information is processed

LearnAppu uses information to provide lessons and AI responses, save sessions, display progress, manage access, process purchases, investigate technical issues, and respond to support requests. Learning context can be included in an AI request to make the response relevant to your selected topic.

4. Community Concepts and shared images

Visual Learning content can be published automatically in Community Concepts. A shared entry can include the question, explanation, conversation follow-ups, course context, and associated images. Other students can browse these entries, and existing content can be reused in later responses.

Do not include names, addresses, school identifiers, private records, or other sensitive details in material intended for visual learning. Upload only material you are entitled to share. If an entry contains personal or inappropriate content, report it in the community interface or email hello@learnappu.com with the entry link.

Removing content from one view should not be assumed to remove every copy or a response previously delivered to another student. Identify both the session and community entry when requesting removal.

5. AI, payments, and service providers

LearnAppu uses external services to deliver features. The current implementation integrates OpenAI for AI responses, Google Gemini for visual generation or editing, and Stripe for payments. Relevant prompts, images, or transaction information are sent to providers when those features are used.

Provider handling, storage locations, and retention depend on the service and account configuration. This page does not promise a specific provider retention period or that every request uses a no-training or zero-retention arrangement. Contact us before submitting material that requires a particular processing guarantee.

6. Cookies and browser storage

Cookies and local browser storage support sign-in, session continuity, preferences, and parts of the learning interface. Clearing or blocking storage can sign you out or reset locally saved settings. Clearing browser storage does not delete information already saved on the server.

7. Storage, retention, and security

Learning sessions, interactions, and visual assets are stored in the platform database; shared entries and images also have stored records. Record types can have different lifecycles. An asset expiry field is not a promise that all related content, community copies, or backups are deleted on that date.

No online system can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password, protect your sign-in codes, and contact hello@learnappu.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Ask support about retention or deletion for a particular record rather than assuming that closing a session erases it.

8. Requests and choices

You can contact hello@learnappu.com to ask about access to account information, correction of inaccurate data, or removal of content. Include the account email and relevant links, but never your password or verification code. Identity verification may be needed.

Available rights and exceptions depend on your location and the circumstances. Some records may need to be retained for security, transaction handling, or legal requirements. A request is not a guarantee of immediate or complete deletion from every system.

9. Young learners and school use

LearnAppu focuses on high school and college learning. Parents, guardians, and educators should review how AI tools and community sharing work before a student uploads material. Do not upload another child's personal information.

If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact hello@learnappu.com. Schools and families should contact us before relying on LearnAppu for a use that requires specific parental-consent, student-privacy, or institutional safeguards.

10. Questions and notice updates

This notice may be updated as features and data handling change. Review it when using new features. For privacy questions or a concern about a shared image, contact hello@learnappu.com.
